Photo Diary: Grand Canyon National Park

The Grand Canyon in Arizona is one of the United States top natural wonders.  Carved by the Colorado River and its tributaries, the Grand Canyon runs 277 miles long, 18 miles wide, and over a mile deep.  There is nearly 2 billion years of Earth geologic history exposed along the Grand Canyon.  This past weekend I had the pleasure of taking a Sundance Helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon and was finally able to check this natural wonder out for myself!

      1. The only main setback is I’ll need a new car first.I Think I’ll be able to do it though! Any particular sites you’d recommend out there?

      2. I went to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas and did a helicopter tour of it rather than drive there, but if you can get there try to see if you can go down inside of the Canyon instead of just looking at it from above! Depending on where you are driving to/from Vegas is only 2 hours from the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam/Lake Mead is also along that route! I’m hoping to do an Arizona road trip one day though because there are so many cool things out in Arizona, but it is such a big state!
