Photo Diary: Ice Castles

Up in Lincoln, New Hampshire is this new winter craze for sight seers – The Ice Castles.  The winter of 2015 was when the first winter Ice Castles was officially opened.  Apparently for the winter of 2016, Ice Castles double in size from the previous year due to it being so popular.  Ryan and I specifically spent a weekend up in New Hampshire just because I really wanted to go and see the Ice Castles – and they certainly did not disappoint!  The Ice Castles was simply amazing and pretty breathtaking!  Just see for yourself below!

Walking through the Ice Castles made you feel as if you were inside the movie Frozen.  There was just so much ice, and all I could wonder was how long it took to form all all this ice.  It was seriously breath taking.  At night they even light up the ice in all different colors, which I am hoping that maybe next year I can try and make another trip up to see them at night instead because I can’t stop thinking about how awesome these formations of ice are!
